I actually found one of these adapter plates but for some odd euro car model BUT it fir our dv too. It has an adjustable opening so you can not only adjust how much air is vented to atmosphere BUT you can change it to also make different type b.o.v sounds !

You forgot the alta upgrade spring that you should have done while in there.. spring helps in reducing turbo lag.. and no both parts will not cause a check engine.. but will give you a noticeable difference in almost no lag between shifts.. no more falling on it's face between gears

suggestion: use thread lock on that stud or apply a drop paint to the top of nut after it's tighten.

At least fill the filter with oil u should do the hole 1/3rd full put bike on its side
